What is Rainbow Summer Camp?
Rainbow Summer Camp is an opportunity for children ages 3-12 to participate in cultural arts programming (e.g., visual arts, performance arts, literary arts) in an LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming space.

Art in Action Summer Camp
July 6th-10th
Ages: Elementary School Age
Location: Lynnhurst Park, Minneapolis
Do you love making art and also care about making a difference in your community? This week, campers will be “artivists” (artists and activists) and explore various mediums of art (e.g. zines, comics, murals, performing arts) and focus those creations on speaking up about issues that are important to them! This camp will be led in collaboration with Out & About Book Bus - a mobile library full of LGBTQIA+ and gender inclusive children’s books that aims to increase LGBTQIA+ and gender visibility and joy. All campers will be able to check out and bring back books from the Out & About Book Bus throughout the camp week, and leave camp on Friday with a new book to keep!
Art in Action Summer Camp is an inclusive and affirming space to BE WHO YOU ARE and celebrate that LOVE MAKES A FAMILY! All children are affirmed in Art in Action Summer Camp, including LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse children of any race, country of origin, culture, and ability.
Rainbow Summer Camp
August 3rd-7th 9am-12pm
Ages: Preschool Age Children
Location: McRae Park, Minneapolis
Rainbow Summer Camp will engage preschool age kids with LGBTQIA+ and gender inclusive children's books, music, and art activities to explore topics like identity, diversity, injustice, and advocacy.
This camp will be led in collaboration with ARTrageous Adventures and Out & About Book Bus- a mobile library full of LGBTQIA+ and gender inclusive children’s books that aims to increase LGBTQIA+ and gender visibility and joy. All campers will be able to check out and bring back books from the Out & About Book Bus throughout the camp week, and leave camp on Friday with a new book to keep!
