Rainbow Collective for Change MN is building safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ families in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas and raising a generation of inclusive and anti-racist humans.

Out & About Book Bus is a “mobile hub” or library spreading queer visibility and joy through LGBTQIA+ and gender affirming children’s books, art activities, and community.

Rainbow Play Dates are open to all families who identify as LGBTQIA+ or Queer. This can include (but is not limited to) LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse parents/caregivers, LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse kids, LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse grandparents, ancles, cousins, etc.
Most play dates include a story time, craft, and coffee for caregivers. Families are encouraged to bring a snack to share with the group. During spring, summer, and fall months, Rainbow Play Dates are hosted at accessible playgrounds. During winter months, we get creative!

Rainbow Story Times are for ALL families - all races, genders, family structures, and abilities - to enjoy diverse children's books, practice inclusive language, and learn how to have anti-bias discussions at home.
Rainbow Story Times currently take place every 4th Saturday of the month at 11am at Graze Food Hall in the North Loop, Minneapolis. We enjoy stories in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language in partnership with Minnesota Deaf Queers.
